Neither ZDNET nor the author are compensated for these independent reviews. This helps support our work, but does not affect what we cover or how, and it does not affect the price you pay. When you click through from our site to a retailer and buy a product or service, we may earn affiliate commissions. And we pore over customer reviews to find out what matters to real people who already own and use the products and services we’re assessing. We gather data from the best available sources, including vendor and retailer listings as well as other relevant and independent reviews sites. To change the zoom within Skype, I need to use the logitech software, and it gets reset every time I turn off my computer.ZDNET's recommendations are based on many hours of testing, research, and comparison shopping. With Skype for Windows 10, there are no zoom controls within the Skype app. It's nonsense that this camera is "certified" for Skype.I get adequate light from the windows, but this camera compensaes to make the room look very well lit. Very crisp image, and even looks great when I forget to turn the lights on in the room in the morning. I got this camera for video conferencing for my new office. I'm sure you could spend hundreds of dollars more for greater professionalism but I wasn't after professionalism, just acceptable (very good) and it exceeded my expectations.
